A large Annamese blue and white dish, 14th century
With curving sides and flaring lipped rim, painted at the centre with a stylised flower encircled by leaves, the well with flowering foliage below a band of classic scroll at the rim, the exterior with lotus petal lappets -- 14 5/8 in. (37.2 cm.) diam.

Purchased in Singapore, 20 January 1958.
