A Korean blue and white shallow dish, Choson Dynasty
Heavily potted with a short upright, slightly flaring rim, painted with a scholar seated on a low table, three attendant figures, bowls of fruit and flowers, and precious objects, within a foliage scroll surround, the rim exterior with diaper pattern -- 7½ in. (19 cm.) diam.
