A group of eight "shipwreck" wares, 16th/17th Century
comprising a blue and white bowl painted with figures in a landscape on the exterior, a shallow blue and white dish with a bird and insect beside a floral spray, both with Chenghua six-character marks, a stem cup, an underglaze blue decorated small box and cover and a white glazed box and cover, two small blue and white bowls, and a white wine cup; and a blanc-de-chine wine cup -- maximum 6¾ in. (17 cm.) diam. (9)
