The script L on the yellow-ground cup mark may be that of Jean-Nicholas Le Bel, active at Sèvres as a flower painter 1773-1793. The mark on the yellow-ground saucer similarly painted the same year is that of Jacques Fontaine, active at Vincennes and Sèvres as a flower painter 1752-1775/6, 1778-1807
