Blue interlaced L's enclosing date letters KK for 1787, painter's mark for Mme Noualhier, gilder's mark for Mirey, the cup incised 46 47, the saucer incised 44
The cup with a rhebus reserved within a gilt and carmine medallion on the pale yellow ground painted with strapwork, volubis and berried vines, the saucer with a gardening trophy similarly reserved, the border with three rhebus medallions, gilt line rims (2)
