A HEDGEHOG BROOCH
The gilt metal hedgehog with green paste eyes, 3.5 cm. long

Provenance

H.R.H. The Princess Margaret and her Lady-in-Waiting The Hon. Annabel Whitehead were staying with the American philanthropist Mrs. Henry J. Heinz III in New York City in October 1992, where the Princess had come to present an award at the United Nations. At a dinner party given Mrs. Heinz in the Princess's honour, each lady present was given one of these hedgehog brooches as a memento of the occasion.
