Lot Essay

Maria d'Oubril married Baron André Feodorovich von Budberg, a Livonian who acted as the Russian chargé d'affaires in Frankfurt. Their daughter Baroness Maria Andreievna von Budberg (1847-1917) married Prince Victor Nicolaievich Gagarine (1847-1912), a direct descendant of Empress Catherine the Great, on 22 September 1867.
