MARK OF HUMPHREY PAYNE, LONDON, 1736
Tapering cylindrical and with a stepped foot, with a leaf-capped spout and a later wood handle, the hinged cover with a baluster finial, engraved with initials 'MS' underneath, marked underneath and inside cover, the base further engraved with a scratchweight '24=6'
