DAUNIAN II, CIRCA 550-400 B.C.
Of buff-colored fabric, the biconical body on a tall stem and disk foot, with a wide flaring rim, the high-arching strap handles with rotellae at their peaks, the handles surmounted by large pomegranate-shaped finials and framed by raised points on either side at the shoulders, with orange, red and black painted ornament, including broad and thin bands along the body and stem, the shoulders with bands of opposing triangles and crosshatching
