Kneeling Figures blessed by a Priest by the Gate of a House

Two drawings of similar subject and technique were formerly in the collection of Paul Wallraf, A. Morassi, Disegni Veneti del Settecento nella collezione Paul Wallraf, exhib. cat., Cini Foundation, Venice, 1959, nos. 91-2, illustrated. Morassi dated these drawings to early in the artist's career, 1740-5.
The attribution has been confirmed by Professor George Knox.
