A pair of kakemono, 18th Century
Ink, colour and gilt on paper, each with four arhats seated on low stools, one with an attendant -- 26¼in. x 15½in. (66.7cm x 39.4cm); a Buddhist subject kakemono illustrated with a circular design with deities and mythical characters -- 23in. x 18¾in. (58.4cm x 47.6cm); a scroll illustrated with a temple gateway and signs; a Zen style scroll illustrated with a flaming pearl, signed; and two calligraphic scrolls. (7)
