A Chinese 'Longquan' celadon bulb bowl, Ming dynasty
strongly potted with rounded sides inturned at the mouthrim, supported on three animal-mask feet, with raised bosses between raised bands around the mouthrim and above the base, with two applied masks holding a ring in their mouth, covered overall in a sea-green glaze except for the base rim burnt orange -- 12½in. (31.7cm.) diam.
