each modelled reclining, the head turned back, with the black eyes bulging and the jaws wide open with the aubergine tongue suspended between the menacing teeth, the long furry tail lying beside the haunch, the front paws one over the other revealing the white claws, the green glazed fur finely incised -- maximum 5 13/16in.
