FIRST EDITION of the fifth "Indian Tract," the last line of the title reading "Año 1552." "This tract contains a strong enunciation of Las Casas' convictions, which grew out of his controversy with Sepulveda. It contains, first, a summary by Domingo de Soto, of the differences between the two disputants; second, the arguments of Sepulveda; and third, the twelve replies of Las Casas to the same" (Church 91).
