Microscopic Tarock No. 345, circa 1929, Frankurt/M, B. Dondorf, 78 of 78 cards, chromolithography, tuck box has two U.S. tax stamps (valid 1929-1940). Trumps and Roman numerals double ended, depict pictures of people, occupations, objects and scenes from Germany, Russia, France and England. Reprint of 19th century version of No. 244 except for Roman numerals. Courts are double ended, named, Roman numerals, French suits, no indices, aces depict different castles, round gilt corners. Backs are a branch of thistle within a panel in blue over-printed in gold. . Size 4 1/4 in. (10.7 cm.) high, 2 3/8 in. (5.9 cm.) wide. Cards in generally fine condition, tuck box flattened and worn.
