Singer's Sewing Machine Insert Cards, circa 1898, Singer Sewing Machine [Company?], 52 of 52 cards. Miniature deck depicts 13 costumed women of the 1890s repeated in each suit, a miniature playing card appears in the upper left and lower right of each pip card, and the courts have the suit mark and title, king, queen and knave. One miniature card was probably included with the sale of a spool of thread. Back reads, "The Favorite and USEFUL THING in the world is SINGER'S SEWING MACHINE." Size 2 5/8 in. (6.8 cm.) high, 1 7/16 in. (3.6 cm.) wide. Not in Dawson.
