A RARE GEORGE III IRISH SILVER CHILD'S RATTLE & WHISTLE,
MARK OF W.L, PROBABLY WILLIAM LAW, DUBLIN, CIRCA 1765,
Of tapering, faceted form, applied with three "S" scroll wires with bells dependent, (one bell a replacement), coral teether, oval ring applied below mouth-piece, maker's mark under mouth-piece & crowned harp to one side of mouth-piece, 4¾ in. long (12 cm.)
