AN EARLY 19TH CENTURY GERMAN SILVER EWER,
MARK OF "SICK", STUTTGART, CIRCA 1810 (Date letter "Q"),
The tapering ovoid body with waisted neck, decorated with a girdle of leafage below a band of scallop motifs on linear ground, a matching band around the foot-rim, ebonised wood loop handle terminating in a fish head with ball in its mouth & shell below, 10 7/8 in. high (27.7 cm.), 13 oz.
