AN EARLY 19TH CENTURY FRENCH SILVER SAUCEBOAT & ASSOCIATED STAND,
THE SAUCEBOAT WITH MARK OF GABRIEL-JACQUES-ANDRE BOMPART, PARIS, CIRCA 1809/19, ALSO RE-MARKED POST 1838, THE STAND BY ANOTHER MAKER, POST 1838,
On oval pedestal foot, with anthemion borders, the handle with large anthemion motif at base, terminating in a classical mask, the detachable oval stand with four ball feet & stiff laurel leaf border, monogrammed to body & stand, 10½ in. long, (27 cm.), 27.5 oz.
