AN 18TH CENTURY FRENCH PROVINCIAL SILVER BEAKER,
MAKER'S MARK LA WITH 2 FLEURS-DE-LYS ABOVE, CLERMONT-FERRAND, CIRCA 1765 (Date letter "L"),
Of usual form with flared lip, engraved with shells, flowers & "C" scrolls, initialled "C.M.", 4 in. high (10 cm.), ALSO another French beaker, larger, mark of JE over DP with flower between, Paris, 1767, with similar engraving to the first beaker, inscibed "C.BURAU", 4½ in. high (11.5 cm.), 10 oz. (2)
