AN 18TH CENTURY SICILIAN SILVER & BRASS-MOUNTED CARTAGLORIA,
CATANIA, POSSIBLY 1744,
Of triptych form, mounted on a wood backing, with foliate borders, the central frame applied with a rococo cartouche at base, chased with the Sacred Monogram, the top with the portrait of a saint flanked by two urns of flowers, the side frames each surmounted by two foliate motifs, (some damage), 35¼ in. long (89.6 cm.), 15¼ in. high (39 cm.).
