The drum case with floral bouquet finial and trailing vine leaves and bunches of grapes to the sides, above concave-sided base mounted with rising sheaves of corn and centred by a laurel garland, with urn finials to the angles, raised on hairy paw feer above a black marble plinth with bead and reel gallery mount and inset with a relief cast frieze panel depicting playful amorini, with engine-turned bun feet, the white enamel Roman dial with Arabic quarters, pierced and chased ormolu hands, the eight day twin barrel movement with silk suspension and countwheel strike on bell; butterfly pendulum, key
