[HEBREW MANUSCRIPT]. Esther Scroll. Undecorated Megillah Esther from Venice, 17th century.

107 x 2200 mm. Hebrew Megillah manuscript written in fine calligraphy in black ink on vellum, 3 membranses, 18 columns and 17 lines. Silver mounted ivory case, 160 mm. high. The spool-turned ivory case is handsomely embellished with applied silver gilded rosettes in four rows, with large rosettes at ends.
