CIRCA 1762, GOLD ANCHOR MARKS
Each decorated in chased gilding with vignettes of birds, the first more thickly potted example with four birds among flowering branches and foliage, the reverse with two birds in flight, the second with three exotic pheasant among shrubs, a bird in flight to the reverse, with gilt dentil pattern rims (the first with a short crack to the rim and slight wear, the second cracked and restored, flaking to gilding)
