CIRCA 1760, GOLD ANCHOR MARK
Painted with a vignette of exotic birds in scrub and among branches within a shield-shaped cartouche gilt with scrolls and issuing trellis and flowers, the lower part pendant with a diaper-pattern section, the mottled ground gilt with scattered insects, between gilt dentil-pattern and flowerhead borders
