In the form of an egg, the lower part painted with a continuous scene of Christ praying with three disciples asleep nearby and cherubs and an angel above, the angel pointing to a vision of the Holy Grail, the upper half with Christ appearing to Mary Magdalene and with His ascension, the hinged mount chased with scrolls and flowers and mounted with two white enamel labels with gilt inscriptions · RIEN · N'EST · TROP · BON · and POUR · CE · QUE · L'ON · AIME · (crack to lower part, minute scratch to cloud, enamel with slight cracks and minute losses)
