EDO PERIOD, 18TH CENTURY, REMOUNTED; THE STAND 19TH CENTURY
Of rectangular shape, decorated overall with landscapes, pagodas and birds, the doors concealing an interior fitted with ten variously sized drawers, each with floral and foliate sparse decoration and framed by a moulding, the interior of the drawers with nashiji decoration, the sides with handles; the base with scrolling and foliate frieze above a pierced foliate apron surmounted by a lambrequin, the foliate cabriole legs with lambrequin chutes joined by x-shaped stretchers centered by a panelled platform terminating in hoof feet
The cabinet: 22¾ in. (58 cm.) high; 28½ in. (72 cm.) wide; 16¾ in. (42.5 cm.) deep
The base: 32 in. (81 cm.) high; 33¾ in. (86 cm.) wide; 21¾ in. (55 cm.) deep (2)
