Of shaped rectangular outline with rounded angles, decorated overall in piqué posé and piqué point with winged putti and mythological scenes in cartouche-shaped scrolling foliate, scalework and trelliswork borders, the hinged lid enclosing a fitted green silk velvet-lined interior, minor losses to the gold inlay
