Twelve various fluid-preserved specimens,
a dissected Perca fuviatilis (Perch) perpared by E. Gerrard & Sons, London; a larval lamprey by the same preparers; two Lacerta agilis (sand lizard), dated August 1932, Wareham, Dorset; a Zeus faber (John Dory); an aboretum jar with toothwort, broom-rape and cuscuta; another with two types of sundew; Boletus aurantiporous (fungus); an unidentified tissue slice prepared by Drs Schlüter & Mass, Halle en Salle, Germany; the eggs, larvae, pupae and insects of the Mosca domestica (house fly) by the same preparers; a mass of Ascaris sp. (intestinal roundworm); Onchidium verraculatum (marine mollusc); and two heads of the Pseudechis porphyriacus (black snake), all in glass jars, the largest -- 34.4cm.
