An early 19th-Century mahogany domestic medicine chest,
of trunk style, the interior with green velvet lining throughout and partitioned to house nine bottles with ground stoppers and paper content labels (one missing label) and a measuring cup, with retaining rod to drawer below with recessed brass half-ring pull, containing a handheld apothecary balance and weights and an area with three tin boxes, the case with brass ring handle and bone droplet-shaped escutcheon -- 18.3 x 17.3 x 15cm. (7¼ x 6 7/8 x 5 7/8in.)
