The gorge case with Sèvres style porcelain side panels depicting maidens in woodland glades, within sky blue and gilt-heightened borders, the conforming dial with Roman chapter ring above alarm ring and scene of a cottage beside a lake, the eight day twin barrel movement with silvered platform to bimetallic lever balance, strike/repeat/alarm on gong to back plate numbered 28 -- 6¼ in. (15.5 cm.) high
