The rectangular case cast with foliate designs against a stippled ground, with lyres raised to the side panels, raised on paw feet, the white enamel Arabic dial signed Robert & Courvoisier, blued steel Breguet hands and steel alarm-set pointer, three position sonnerie regulation slot to underside, the eight day movement with circular plates, numbered 495, twin going barrels with lever escapement with brass monometallic balance, strikework and pull-wind alarm positioned on the back plate, strike/repeat/alarm on two bells -- 7¾ in.
