A bronze model of a qilin, 16th/17th Century
the mythical beast with traces of gilt, is seated with front paws raised, with bushy tail and a long curled mane issuing from the twin horns on the creatures head, standing on later rectangular base with Qianlong six character mark - 6.5in. (16.5cm) high.
