The hammered circlet base with 3 riveted scrolls & a similarly riveted trifurcated scroll stand terminating at the top in a bifurcated scroll, inscribed around inside of base, "From Alfred G. and Frances Balfour, Nina Downshire and Mary Balfour to E.& J.W. Balfour, Oct. 16, 1879/1904", 18 in. high (45.8 cm.), 45 oz.
