The rectangular top inset with gilt tooled red-leather writing surfaces, the central panel fitted with hinged compartments above an arched frieze carved with foliate roundels, each pedestal fitted with four graduated drawers between locking stiles carved with caryatids, opposed by a panelled cupboard door carved with a chevron and centred with a mask, with foliate carvings to the angles, on plinth base
