Lot Essay

This popular model of occasional table is known to many collectors through the English Furniture dealers Mallett who have produced this form of table with various decorative panels inset into the top. The design may have originated from Maison Jansen (J. A. Abbott, Jansen, New York, 2006, p. 280).
