The case with brass handle to moulded top, foliate mounts and glazed side panels, the brass dial with ormolu crossed sword and crown mounts to silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring with leaf sprig half hour markers, matted centre with mock pendulum aperture and silvered alarm-setting disc, blued steel hands, the arch with silvered subsidiary ring also with matted centre and signed Francesco Orazi above Sona/Non Sona regulation, the twin barrel movement with rectangular plates joined by four ringed and back-pinned pillars, verge escapement with silk suspension, quarter strike, repeat and alarm on two bells with three hammers; pendulum, key
