WANLI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1573-1619)
With shallow rounded sides rising to an everted rim, painted in underglaze blue on the interior with a roundel enclosing four lotus blossoms and a single bud enclosed by leafy stems, with similar decoration forming a frieze on the exterior, all within double line borders and reserved against an egg yolk-yellow ground
