THREE INDIAN ENAMEL AND SILVER COLOURED METAL CHESS PIECES
JAIPUR, LATE 19TH CENTURY
Mounted with various cabochons and hung with cultured pearls, the pieces comprising; a king and queen modelled as elephants with covered howdahs, hung with cultured pearls and stones, and a knight modelled as a mounted horse, all undersides with scrolling foliate decoration
The king -- 5 5/8in. (14.2cm.) high; the knight -- 4¼in. (10.8cm.) high (3)
