The king -- 7¾in. (19.2cm.) high; the pawn -- 4¼in. (10.8cm.) high
Together with a French painted terracotta figural set, depicting the farmers versus the bandits, mounted on light and dark wood bases, the reverse stamped M.CARBONEL on each figure, the king -- 3¼in. (8.2cm.) high; the pawn -- 2in. (5cm.) high; a Spanish painted terracotta set, depicting local villagers, with board inscribed Formentera; and an Italian terracotta caricature set, depicting the Gauls versus the Romans, the king -- 2in. (5cm.) high; the pawn -- 1½in. (4cm) high (4)
