Tibet, 15th century
Seated in dhyanasana on a lotus base, his right hand raised in vitarka mudra, clad in patchwork robes with incised borders, his face with a benign expression with inlaid copper lips and silver eyes, with further copper inlay on the front of the hat and the back beneath the neck, inscribed on the reverse of the base, the base sealed and incised with a lotus

According to the inscription on the reverse, the subject is the ascetic Tsundru Tashi, and the donor or artist was Tsewant Gyaltsen.
