The first, a Ranryo-o dancer with his right leg lifted in mid-step, mask and headdress ivory, details of costume inlaid with ivory and iridescent shell, signature on colored-ivory reserve; the second of a seated self-tickler, his wand ivory, the smaller hole of the himotoshi lined in colored ivory, signature in stained red in ivory reserve
