Choson period (19th century)
Of mallet form with tapered foot and cylindrical neck decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with two different flowering branches, the stems painted with short thorns and pointed leaves with carefully rendered veins, the blossoms crisply painted in medium blue washes and darker lines of blue, the bottle additionally decorated with a pair of parallel lines above the foot and covered overall save the foot ring with a transparent glaze; pink blushes from the firing to the thinly applied clear glaze on base
