CIRCA 1690, BLUE 3 MARK, THE PEWTER COVER WITH IMPRESSED MARKS
The globular body painted with Orientals in an elaborate garden, the shoulder with a band of scroll motifs, the neck with stylised tulips, with twisted-rope handle, the pewter-mounted foot with stiff leaves, the flat pewter cover inscribed CMS 1696 beneath a crown, with ball thumbpiece (pewter ring loose from foot, one very small bruise to body)
