The lists of "key Starfleet personnel" on the plaque are actually the names of key production personnel on the film and members of the Star Trek family, including director Jonathan Frakes, production designer Herman Zimmerman, The Original Series set decorator John M. Dwyer, original Enterprise designer Matt Jefferies and Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry.
