ENTERPRISE CARGO TRANSPORTER CONTROL CONSOLE
A small freestanding prop NX-01-style control console with three simulated control levers and prop control buttons -- 26x42in. -- used as the cargo transporter control console during the first three seasons of Star Trek: Enterprise until the transporter was upgraded in "Daedalus" in Star Trek: Enterprise; in different forms, this console had previously been used aboard the Enterprise-D in Star Trek: The Next Generation and the Voyager in Star Trek: Voyager

Lot Essay

During the early seasons of Star Trek: Enterprise, the transporter was considered to be an experimental technology. It was only used in emergency situations, and most missions used shuttlepods instead. By the fourth season, transporters had been improved to the point where they were used more frequently. And in "Daedalus" in Star Trek: Enterprise, we met scientific genius Emory Erickson, the inventor of the transporter, who supervised a major upgrade of the Enterprise's equipment, which included an all-new, bigger console.
