Malachi Throne is well-known to Star Trek fans for his role as Commodore Mendez in "The Menagerie, Parts I and II" in Star Trek: The Original Series. He also provided the voice of The Keeper in "The Cage," but the part was revoiced when that first pilot was incorporated into "The Menagerie."
