In the future scenes of "All Good Things" in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Data had become a professor at Cambridge University, holder of the Lucasian Chair of Mathematics, a position currently held in real life by Star Trek fan (and theoretical physicist) Dr. Stephen Hawking.
