Lot Essay

Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country was the last Star Trek movie to feature the entire principal cast of the original series. Director Nicholas Meyer crafted this dramatic tale of change in James Kirk's universe. The film bridged Kirk's world and the Star Trek: The Next Generation era with unthinkable events as peace with the hated Klingons, the impending retirement of Kirk's beloved starship, and even Kirk and Spock facing the reality of growing old.
