Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home was a favorite, both with Star Trek fans and with the general movie-going public. The light-hearted tale of the Enterprise crew in contemporary San Francisco was a delightful departure from the previous three movies, and made for many memorable scenes. The film also offered the first real glimpses of Starfleet Command, often referred to in the original series, but never shown until now.
